There are several basic principles in life and a free society. Understand that dependency on anything is NOT freedom, but rather slavery to those or what you depend on. As Americans, we are born with fundamental rights. Unfortunately, many believe, we as Americans have rights that do not exist merely because of our existence. We continually hear the phrases “It’s my right…”, “I have a right to…”, and so on.

To be clear:
You do not have a right to a job;
You do not have a right to housing;
You do not have a right to healthcare;
You do not have a right to food;
You do not have a right to Government subsidies.

Your mere existence on this planet does not earn you any rights. If you want any rights, YOU MUST EARN THOSE RIGHTS! You can not just take from society without giving back.

On the other end of the spectrum, the Government has NO rights unless the people grant them. The Government has duties to its people, but it does not have rights! The Government will take rights away from its people, and when it does, those rights are never returned. We as a people must exercise great caution when granting the Government rights or giving up our rights in the name of the Government, because when we do, we become more of a slave to the Government and less of a master of our own destiny.

The definition of a slave is “a person entirely under the domination of some influence or person”, and I add “or Government”. The more we take from the Government, the more we are slaves to the Government.  Through the power of entitlements, they dictate our every move and decision, and will suppress any action or thoughts that are contrary to their perceived distribution of entitlements, which they call rights. Slavery has evolved into an institution where more entitlements are provided, the people become more content, and more under the control of the Government.  This is not a new concept; it was voiced in 1968 in S2-E25 of Star Trek (Bread And Circuses)

• KIRK: But if there have been slaves for over 2,000 years, hasn’t there always been discontent, runaways?
• FLAVIUS: Long ago, there were rebellions, but they were suppressed. And with each century, the slaves acquired more rights under the law. They received rights to medicine, the right to government payments in their old age, and they slowly learned to be content.
• SPOCK: Even more fascinating. Slavery evolving into an institution with guaranteed medical payments and old-age pensions.

The Liberals are “Plantation Owners”. We see this by their actions. They just keep doing more to placate the masses while all the time enriching themselves, gaining power and control, not caring the slightest about the American people. It is all about power. Liberals are evil, and those who follow them are either too ignorant to know they are puppets or just do not care, as long as they are content. Those that believe the “liberal mantra”, are nothing but “indentured servants” to the Government.

We Were Warned in 1961, and we did not listen then.
